Terms of Service – Marine Tech Inspection

By accessing Marine Tech Inspection and purchasing any of our digital marine inspection reports, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase.

1. Service Description

Marine Tech Inspection provides digital marine inspection reports for boats, vessels, and watercraft.
Our reports are created using:

  • Publicly available data sources

  • Customer-submitted vessel information

  • Research and verification processes carried out at the time of request

These reports are designed to offer helpful information about a vessel’s background, condition indicators, and history; however, they are not a substitute for physical inspections, mechanical evaluations, or legal documentation.

2. Customer Responsibilities

When using our service, you agree that:

  • You will provide accurate and complete information, including vessel serial numbers, registration details, ownership information, and any other required data.

  • Marine Tech Inspection will prepare the report based strictly on the information you submit.

  • You understand that the report is for informational purposes only and does not replace a professional marine survey, legal evaluation, or mechanical inspection.

  • Any inaccurate results caused by incorrect customer-submitted information are not the responsibility of Marine Tech Inspection.

3. Payment Terms

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe or another approved payment gateway.

  • Prices are listed in USD and may vary depending on the selected service or report type.

  • By completing a purchase, you authorize Marine Tech Inspection to charge the full amount for the selected service.

  • As our services are digital and begin immediately, all sales are final (refer to our Refund Policy for full details).

4. Delivery of Reports

  • Reports are typically delivered to the customer’s email within 24 hours of purchase.

  • Delivery times may vary due to technical delays, email issues, or high-volume periods, but we aim to process all orders as quickly as possible.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the email address provided at checkout is correct and accessible.

5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Marine Tech Inspection gathers data from a variety of public databases and customer-provided information. Because public records can sometimes be outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate, we make no guarantees regarding:

  • The accuracy of third-party or public data

  • The completeness of historical or ownership information

  • The present mechanical condition of any vessel

By using our service, you acknowledge that:

  • You are using the report at your own discretion and risk

  • Marine Tech Inspection is not liable for financial decisions made based on the report

  • We are not responsible for losses, damages, or misunderstandings resulting from any data, errors, or omissions in public records

Our report should be viewed as supporting information, not a final decision-making document.
